New Pluto Photos Show A Wind-Streaked Planet Smudged With Hydrocarbon Soot

NASA's New Horizons spacecraft has beamed back new images from Pluto showing that the dwarf planet is as geologically-active as any body in our solar system and with a nitrogen-rich atmosphere that is being lost to space at an amazing rate.
