Rivet Killer Wireless-AC 1535 Controller Boosts Wi-Fi Range And Performance

Rivet Networks recently launched its Killer Wireless-AC 1535, the second generation of its Killer Wireless-AC controller. The Killer Wireless-AC 1535 builds upon the success of the original by introducing what Rivet is calling ExtremeRange technology, which is a fancy way of saying the controller features two external 5GHz signal amplifiers, in addition to support for 802.11ac Wave 2 features like MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple Input – Multiple Output) and Transmit Beamforming. And all of those features, in conjunction with Rivet’s software optimizations and the right router / access point, result in 802.11ac wireless performance that can be significantly better than me-too solutions.
