ProtectWise Launches Its Network Security Product In A Deadly Hail Of Buzzwords

Startup ProtectWise is launching out of stealth today and at the same time announcing over $17 million in venture funding from Crosslink Capital, Trinity Ventures. Paladin Capital Group and Arsenal Venture Partners. The company was founded by Scott Chasin, who previously started companies subsequently acquired by Symantec and McAfee. On top of this Chasin was McAfee’s CTO from 2009-2012.
