We've all heard about high profile data breaches like those that happened recently to Target and Anthem. But while we understand that systems get hacked and personal information gets stolen, the general understanding of what happens with that information is hazy at best. Sure when something turns up in the public arena (as in the case of the celebrity photo breach) we're all well aware of it. But when data travels on the so-called dark web, it is, as the name implies, out of sight to us.
