Three Iconic American Companies Ready To Rise Again On Wall Street
IBM, McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) and Coca-Cola are in different lines of business. But they have one thing in common: they’re all fallen iconic American companies.
On Wall Street, that is.
In the last twelve months, IBM’s stock is down 10.90%, McDonald’s down 4.04%, and Coke is flat, compared to a 12.96% gain of the S&P500.
There is a good reason for the lagging performance of all three stocks -- sluggish revenue and earnings growth. IBM’s revenues, for instance, has been falling for twelve quarters in a row. McDonald’s and Coca-Cola have been reporting their own sluggish sales, including the most recent quarter reported this week.
